The Grand Tour
This chapter identifies the various components of your computer. Become
familiar with each component before you operate the computer.
Front with the display closed
The following figure shows the computer’s front with its display panel in the
closed position.

Front edge logo
Front edge logo indicates the computer series
you bought.
(Depends on the model you purchased.)
Wireless
communication
switch
Slide this switch toward the right of the computer
to turn on Wireless communication. Slide it
toward the left of the computer to turn off the
functions. (Provided with some models)

Headphone jack
Multiple media card slot*
Wireless communication switch*
Front edge logo*
*Depending on the model you purchased
Microphone jack
Display latch
Set the switch to the off-position in airplanes and hospitals. Check the
Wireless communication indicator. It stops glowing when the wireless
communication is terminated.
