4. Installation and Wiring

4.1

Operating environment Do not install the T3 in the following locations :

• Where the ambient temperature drops below 0*C (32“F)

or exceeds 55‘C (13l“F)

• Where the relative humidity drops below 20% or exceeds

90%

• Where there is condensation due to sudden temperature

changes

• Where there are vibrations that exceed the tolerance of the

• Where there are shocks that exceed the tolerance of the T3

• Where there are corrosive or inflammable gases

(The installation location should be below 0.05 ppm of

sulfurous acid gas, below 0.01 ppm of hydrogen sulfide.)

• Where there are dust, machining debris or other particles

• In locations exposed to direct sunlight

Observe the following precautions when installing

enclosures for mounting the T3 :

• Provide the maximum possible distance between high-

voltage or high-power panels. This distance must be at least

200 mm (8 in).

• If the enclosures are installed near high-frequency

equipment, be sure to ground the enclosures correctly.

• When sharing the channel base with other panels, check for

leakage currents from the other panels or equipment.
